The Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Festival has been running for over 20
years with its identity changing annually. This has left them lacking both a
coherent brand and any acknowledgement of the successes they have
achieved in previous years.

With their plan being to have future festivals encompassed by an annual
theme, they needed real help with establishing an identity that retained
continuity and longevity for the years and festivals to come, whilst also allowing
an individual artistic direction to be taken with each year's theme.

The problem was solved by choosing to create an overarching umbrella identity
for the festival that was strong and recognisable in appearance but subtle in its
presentation so as to allow continuity across festivals over the coming years
without overshadowing their respective artistic and thematic directions.
